Terms of Service
Effective August 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of AIControl's website, console, browser extension, and API (together, the "Service"), operated from India. By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
The free trial
New workspaces get a 90-day free trial from the date of registration. After the trial ends, access to the workspace is paused until a paid plan is arranged — your data and configuration are preserved, not deleted, while paused. We'll publish paid plan pricing and terms separately as they become available; nothing in these Terms obligates you to a paid plan.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your account credentials confidential, and enable MFA where available.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with its security controls.
- You're responsible for the security policies your organization configures, and for who within your organization has administrator access.
- If you connect a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, or a self-hosted model), you're responsible for your own agreement and usage costs with that provider — AIControl is not a party to it.
What we provide
The Service inspects and governs traffic your organization routes through it, according to the policy your organization configures. We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" during this beta/trial period, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are actively developing the Service and features may change.
Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect and how it's used, including the structural guarantee that we do not persist the full text of prompts or AI responses.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIControl is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including damages resulting from an AI provider's own output or from a security event the Service did not catch. The Service is a control and visibility layer — it reduces risk, it does not eliminate it.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, including attempts to circumvent the Service's security controls or abuse of the platform.
Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where required, notify workspace administrators directly.
